How to buy a domain on GoDaddy India
- Go to godaddy.com/en-in and search for your name.
- Add it to the cart and untick add-ons you don't need.
- Check the term (1 or 2 years) and the renewal price shown in the cart.
- Pay by card, UPI or net banking.
- For .in, complete Aadhaar KYC within 7 days, or the domain stops working.
Moving a domain away from GoDaddy
Unlock the domain, copy the authorization (EPP) code from your GoDaddy domain settings, and start a transfer at the new registrar. Transfers usually add a year to the registration. GoDaddy won't let a .in move to another GoDaddy account within 10 days of registration.
