.भारत: domains in Indian scripts
India also has an internationalized extension, .भारत ("Bharat"), so names can be written entirely in Devanagari and other Indian scripts. Fewer registrars sell it, and some (GoDaddy, for example) don't support internationalized names for .in at all.
Rules for .in names
- Letters a–z, numbers 0–9 and hyphens only.
- Up to 63 characters before the extension.
- Can't start or end with a hyphen, or have hyphens in the 3rd and 4th positions.
- Registered for 1 to 10 years at a time.
- The owner must complete identity (KYC) verification required by NIXI.
